HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY GINO

Gino had such a fantastic 5th Birthday! It started out with super fun signs hanging everywhere and a breakfast time present!
He got his family party later that night and of course fell asleep 10 minutes before everyone arrived.

He was sooooooooooo happy to have his birthday that he was all smiles!

And that popsicle tongue!

He was tuckered out by the end of the night, but I think he even wanted to keep playing in his sleep!

SPORTS CAMP

Gino has sports camp this week at Newhall Park. He's learning fun stuff about baseball, basketball and soccer!!!

mia had fun playing at the park and taking us on walks everywhere. She REALLY wanted to play with the kids in camp though. Someday she'll be old enough!

DRAG RACES - Sonoma 2008

Pa got tickets for him, Gino and wayne to go to the drag races at "Sears Point" (or whatever it's called now).
Gino was grubbin' on the yummy food!
He even got to take a nap thanks to those earmuff thingies.
Of course, I sent the camera with three boys, so no pictures of the three of them or of race cars. But that's o.k. It was a great first ever 3 generation boys race trip! :) he he

Packing... moving... unpacking. It has been a bunch of work, but you sure come across some fun stuff in the process. I have ooooodles of albums and pictures and there are a bunch I want to scan in. But for now, I just grabbed a couple today to bring in.

Here is me and my sister when we were witto girls. We always say we are "twins".

So, I went to a job site today in Orinda. It was a beautiful way to start a morning. The views were gorgeous and it was so peaceful.

Aunt Tammy and Uncle Doug surprised us and invited us to a spur of the moment beach trip. Who could say no!?!?!?

The place they found was a totally awesome little cove. Lots of rocks to climb on.

It made for LOTS of happy faces that day.
We even got to check out all of the tidepools.
Uncle Doug sure looks small next to those tall cliffs.

Okay, so at some point, the wind kicked up and the fog rolled in and Gino was freezing. He headed into the little tent for some snacks.

Mia loved the snack time idea too!

We headed home and both kids took a nap.

Mia was still a little tired, so she decided to lay down on the kitchen floor for a bit.

We were so busy moving and unpacking, and the kids LOVED having McDonalds because of it.
Thank God for small miracles... Gino and Mia are doing FANTASTIC sharing a room!
