ANIMAL SCHOOL

Gino and I had a Special Mommy & Son day on Friday 02.15.08. We went to the Lindsay Wildlife Museum and took an animal class. We got to learn about fishies and frogs and salamanders.

Gino even got to do some expiriments about what shapes make the best fish. And it was a bunch of messy fun!
After class, we went to the park. He climbed the rock wall, ran around and had a great time.
It was a super fun day and I was so glad we got to spend it together.

too freakin' early but still got to work 20 minutes late cuz i passed the driveway of the office and went straight to Peet's for coffee and a bear claw.

SWEENEY TODD. loved it!

i'm HOOOKED on Discovery HD. dirty jobs & mythbusters and all the SHARK stuff they have on right now. OH! And "Three Sheets" is HILARIOUS on mojoHD

breakfast? what's that? on the weekends wayne makes me waffles, hashbrowns, eggs an sausage. or he makes the BEST skillet scrambles EVER

It is the one inbetween my first and last.

this place i just saw on discovery channel. darn!! it's a private island place. shark diving... remote pagodas where they bring you breakfast via boat to your dock. not bora bora... umm... shoot!!

hard to tell under all the tub toys and towels draped over everything.

16. Where would you retire to?
A warm beach with all my friends so we can be there for each other to bond, keep us occupied and bug the crap out of each other as we get old. Our kids/grandkids can come visit.
17. What was your most memorable birthday? My memory is SHORT. So, I can barely remember last year. But Wayne and the kids took me to Monterey to hide from turning 29+1. But I also remember being like 10 and having a bunch of girlfriends over with our cabbage patch kids. They did a spanking machine and I bawled my eyes out. darn girls! ha ha

Superbowl Surprise Party

Wayne had a GREAT idea to surprise the Esplands with a mini Superbowl party when they got home from LA. So, Wayne got up early (while I slept) and got all kinds of grub!

Later in the day when we picked up the kids from their sleepover, we all went out to snag some chips & salsa and head to Tam & Doug's to get the food ready before they got back.
The kids made themselves at home.
Mia couldn't wait and made herself comfy munching on the food.
Then it was party party fun fun fun all day!!!!

Now, that is a happy face.

Kung Fu

We went to see Daddy get his next belt promotion at Kung Fu. Gino was a great picture taker.
Mia was excited and wanted to run out to give Daddy a hug.
Hooray Dad! Way to go. Jade belt. We are proud of you.
