Housewarming - Doug & Jessica

Doug & Jessica invited us to help them "warm up" their house by celebrating.
It was a lot of fun. They had MANY friends & family show up and everyone had a great time.

Mia thought the cookie tray was the highlight of the party!

I meant to take pictures of the whole condo, but somehow got distracted. So, Gino ended up being the party's photographer.

Aidan's 2nd Birthday Party

We got our invite to a super duper birthday party for Aidan.

We have recently discovered Mia has allergies. So, the poor thing was a big 'ol mess this weekend since we were outside 90% of the time.

But she still had a great time in the jumpie too!!

CHILDHOOD

I absolutely adore childhood, and I want to make sure I cram in as many of my childhood memories for my kids as possible.
So, here is yet another one of those things I just LOVED as a kid. Making a "fort"! It was always soooooo much fun gathering up pillows, cushions, blankets, chairs and everything else you could think of to assemble and make a super duper kid hideout with.
Of course, its construction was always a little shaky. And you knew that the whole entire structure could come toppling down with one teenie nudge in just the right spot. But hours of fun nonetheless!

okay, so this is totally dorky. but... as you view at the pictures of mia at nana's and read my comments, it is TOTALLY annoying me right now that I used the word "look" at least 3 or 4 times. arggggh! i might have to go in to revise my post so it doesn't sound so repetative.
ha ha ha just me being silly. i can't help it.

mia got her chance to sleep over at nana's house and have her own spoiled day.

help! she's been attacked by the ink monster!!! She's turning into a zombie. Well, it looks like some of it actually did make it onto the paper!
Time to dig. Maybe she is looking for a tunnel to candyland.

Gino got a new haircut (via mommy) and some new shoes for his big 'ol feet. and a SKATEBOARD!!! So, we had one of those PRICELESS familiy nights of skateboarding, kite flying, bicycling, racing, etc.
