MONTEREY

FOR MY 29 + 1 BIRTHDAY, MY WONDERFUL HUBBY & KIDS TOOK ME TO CELEBRATE IN MONTEREY FOR THE WEEKEND. IT WAS QUITE A TREAT.

We really enjoyed our visits to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Gino wanted to take a crab and big "sharkie" home with him. He was sure we could build a tank and take seaweed home to his room and the shark would be just fine. Mia had a great time exploring the toddler area. She was a great crawler and climber. She thought the birdies in the aviary were funny. I think that Penguin that looks cute.

Gino had a lot of fun petting the starfish, sea cucumber and crabs. He also had lots of fun at the BEACH and playing on the slides and other fun stuff in the Splash Zone. Did I mention he LOVED the BEACH!?!?!?

Mia was super happy and had a wonderful time playing and watching the fishies. Mia and I also had fun relaxing on the beach and playing and laughing.

okay, so snack time is a smidge messy. but she sure is happy!
Gino is a great helper for Daddy to get that truck cleaned, and water the plants, and the mailbox, and the wall...

Mia is Crawling

So, the newest update is that our little princess is crawling. It still takes her a bit of effort, but she is movin' around pretty well now.

Pixie Playland Fun

We invited Angelique and Kaili Rose (and their Mommy) and Dylan (and his Mommy & Daddy) to join us in a fun afternoon at Pixie Playland.
Everything was going great. Gino was super duper excited when we arrived.

But then... out of the blue... BAM!!! it hit like a bolt of lighting. Major mood shift and Gino was screaming and crying!!

But wait... What's that? LICORICE!?!?!?
a.k.a. instant smile maker !!!

And from then on, it was ALL SMILES! Hoooraay What Fun!!!

Looks like Dylan is really focused on driving around those turns. Gino appears to be making the car noises to help him out.
