weekend projects

we are trying to fill these rainy weekends with projects at home. So, Gino and Wayne painted the wall in our living room and hung up our stars.
Wayne and Gino also sanded my chair and stained it and then we re-upholstered it. Gorgeous!

shoe fetish

Since I am a girl, it should be totally understandable that ... I LOVE SHOES!
This is nothing new, as I have A LOT. But, I am stepping outside of my Payless Shoes box and getting some new styles and loving it. I will admit that it really helps to have a hubby who likes to shop even more than me. :)

DINOMITE STUDENT

It was Gino's turn to be Dynamite student at school. This was our homework to get ready for his special week. We made dino footprints with his favorite things on them.
favorite color: blue
favorite food: chips & salsa
favorite animal: elephant (couldn't do ALL the animals he wanted)
then we did a footprint with pictures of Gino on it.
And one of his family and friends!

Mia's Nana Day

Mia went and got to hang out with super duper nana the other day and had a wonderfully spoiled super good time.

WALKING WITH DINOSAURS

Okay, so Gino thought this #6 in front of the Arco Arena was picture-worthy. :)
Noni and Pa got us all tickets to go see Walking with Dinosaurs.

We got there, and loaded up the kids with souveniers and goodies.

Mia was super excited to see the dinosaurs!

The show was INCREDIBLE!!

Clayton Park

We went to the park in Clayton and went on the trails, the playground and had a super duper fun time!

CHABOT SPACE & SCIENCE CENTER

We had our first visit to Chabot Space & Sciene Center and had a great time. The kids got to pretend they were astronauts and even walk on the moon. They learned a lot about the stars and planets and we will definitely be going back again soon.

Little Mia was very busy in her kitchen one day.

Then, the next day her and her brother decided to switch and she was Miss Fix-It and he became Chef Gino!

I saw these pajamas and just could not resist. Mia really likes her dino jammies. Just ask her, and she will even do her best dinosaur imitation for you.

O Christmas Tree
