Sesame Street

We got some tickets to a suite at the Sesame Street Live show. It was great. Mia was a dancing fanatic and loved it. Gino's favorite part was his giant Cookie Monster cookie!!

My friends and family and I always laugh together when we discuss how on earth we are supposed to ever be able to talk on the phone at home. Because... our kids know that the second we are on the phone, our supervisor skills drop by at least 50%.
Sure enough, I was on the phone with Randy and Gino decided to sit on the floor and color his legs, feet, knees, arms, elbows and nose BLUE with his marker pen.

bird hunt adventure

We went on a walk (a.k.a. bird adventure). Gino brought his bird book to see what we could find.
The boys hiked down a little hill to the creek where they found a rope swing.
We can't wait for the next adventure!

BORGES RANCH 06.09.07

We had a great time visiting Borges Ranch. Gino and Daddy made a really awesome cowboy badge. It was a lot of work in the warm sun, but it turned out great.
Mia rummaged through Nana's purse and helped mommy paint a dragonfly. There were games and fun and it was a super good time.

SAN DIEGO

We went to visit Samantha and Aaron and surprise them for the MOVING IN weekend. New job, new condo. Ain't life exciting!?!?! The kids had a blast climbing up Sam's new mattress and sliding down. Making funny faces seemed to be the theme for the day. Even Doug got into it!!!

We even made a stop at Home Depot (okay, more like 4 stops). But we spent one trip building a biplane for Gino. He was a great helper err... support person. Samantha and I managed to mostly follow the instructions and did a great job (with some extra nails and glue).

It was a shopping mania weekend. Ikea, Target, Costco, Home Depot... whew! Gino and Wayne hit the beach for a bit. Mia was a great shopper and even took a little nap in the cart at Target. What a cutie. There was paint and shopping bags flying all over the place. It was a great little mini trip.

On the way home, we took a pit stop to get some gas, and Gino got to see the dinosaur and buffalo too! :)

Gino really likes the big tree at Uncle Randy and Charing's house. When are you building a tree house for us in your protected oak Uncle Nate? :)
