BEACH TIME !

We traveled down Highway 1 to New Brighton. What a beautiful, fun, super duper time we had.

Gino's Beach Adventures

Gino was great at climbing through the rocks and searching the tidepools.

He had such a fun time.

Loves the beach, the ocean and finding seashells too.

New Brighton Beach

Mia was a little beach cutie who loved relaxing in the chair and kicking her toesies in the sand.


She also loved "surfing" and hanging out in the shade eating her snacks (a little sandy).

Gino and Daddy had a blast running around in the big and little waves in the ocean.

Gino was at home on the beach and really got into his digging the biggest hole ever. Daddy and Mommy helped dig too.

Santa Cruz

We hit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Gino went on TONS of rides. It was amazing. He never ceases to shock me with how grown up he is getting. I thought we would stick to the boat ride (#4 boat even!) and cars and trucks, etc.

So, he had a great time driving the boats and trucks.
but he actually wanted go to on the log ride! This is us standing in line. I was waiting for him to change his mind at any moment. Instead, he absolutely LOVED IT and want to go again and again. It was a blast.

So, Gino has an adorable haircut and I got my hair done too!

Haircut

GINO GOT A NEW HAIRCUT! (care of Mommy)


We are SOOO amazingly proud of Gino. Since he got nicked on the ear by the haircut place when he was like 1 or 2 years old, he has completely refused to get a haircut. The most we can do is talk him into letting us cut one or two pieces every few months out of his eyes, etc. But...
Yesterday he completely was o.k. with us giving him a haircut. We were shocked. He was a little nervous but was a total superstar and did wonderful.
He couldn't walk past a mirror afterwards without checking out his new haircut and loving it. He even told me to call him Dylan, because now he was growing and had a big boy haircut like his friend!

Kooky Kangaroo - SUMMER CAMP

Teacher, Miss Melissa, was totally great. Gino got to make so many wonderful crafts and had such a fun time.

Drive - In

We went to see Ratatouille at the drive-in. We are definitely going to do this more, because it was REALLY fun! :)

Go Dodgers

So, I sported my BLUE. I am an A's fan but when we are at a Dodger's game (not playing the A's) and especially when they play the Giants, I am a Dodgers fan just like my hubby. Well, maybe not that HUGE of a Dodgers fan. But Nomar is fun to cheer for. The game was awesome and contributed to Barry Bonds slumping stats and loss streak for the Giants. Yippeee!! :)
